By applying everything we learned creating the carbon Crux, we used our patented D'Aluisio Smartweld technology to make it a reality in alloy. The result is the most capable, nimble, balanced, and responsive alloy gravel bike ever built for fast, fun, high-performance riding. And yes, it’s the lightest too. More tire clearance equals more capability, and the Crux DSW offers up to 47mm clearance with a 700c wheel or 2.1 inches with a 650b wheel. This ensures you have the freedom to tackle rough gravel, dirt trails, and even light singletrack without worrying about your tire's limitations. Paired with a tough yet light alloy frame, the Crux DSW is built to take on any terrain with ease.

The Crux DSW is designed to be responsive at the pedals and supple in the saddle. Thanks to our D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, we've fine-tuned the alloy frame properties to deliver a ride that was once only possible with carbon. The Crux DSW uses performance gravel geometry and a race-influenced fit, including a longer reach for better weight distribution and quicker, more confident handling. With a 72mm bottom bracket drop, we’ve struck the perfect balance between nimble responsiveness and stability.
D'Aluisio Smartweld Technology
Our patented D'Aluisio Smartweld (DSW) is a cutting-edge engineering process that uses hydroforming to precisely match tube-to-tube joints for better, stronger welds. This technology makes the frame not only lighter but also twice as durable as a traditional alloy frame. The Crux DSW features a unique single-piece downtube and bottom bracket, making it stronger and more responsive than ever before.
